High-Quality Flooring Transition Moldings for a Clean, Professional Finish

Flooring transition moldings are essential for creating smooth, seamless connections between different flooring surfaces. At GC Supply, we offer a wide selection of durable and stylish transition moldings designed to complete your flooring installation with precision and performance.

Whether you're connecting waterproof vinyl to tile, laminate to hardwood, or different floor heights, our flooring transition moldings provide the stability, protection, and polished look your project needs.

Why Flooring Transition Moldings Matter

Many people focus only on the flooring material itself, but transition moldings play a critical role in the overall appearance and durability of a floor system. Proper transition strips protect floor edges, prevent tripping hazards, and help floors expand and contract naturally.

Benefits of using high-quality flooring transition moldings include:

  • Smooth transition between two flooring types

  • Protection for floor edges from damage

  • Improved safety by reducing height differences

  • Professional, finished appearance

  • Long-lasting durability in high-traffic areas

Without proper floor transitions, even the best flooring installation can look incomplete.

Types of Transition Moldings We Offer

End Caps

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you deliver?
Yes — we can help arrange delivery.

Delivery depends on the type of product:
-  Special-order / out-of-stock items: usually delivered through the supplier's delivery schedule.
-  In-stock warehouse items: We can recommend trusted delivery companies, but we do not schedule delivery on your behalf. The customer arranges delivery directly with the delivery company.

  • Do you deliver inside the house / upstairs / into the garage?
No. Delivery is curbside/driveway only. For safety and liability reasons, drivers do not bring materials inside the home.

  • Is delivery included in the price?
No — delivery is a separate service and is not included in the material price. Delivery costs depend on distance, load size, and scheduling.

  • Do you offer installation?
No. We do not provide installation — we supply materials only.
You’re welcome to use your own installer/contractor!

  • Why can’t you hold products in the warehouse for extended periods?
Because our warehouse has high turnover, long-term holding increases the risk of product damage, creates safety concerns, and takes space needed for incoming and special orders.

  • How long can you hold my order in the warehouse?
We can hold your order for up to 3 business days after it arrives or after we notify you that it’s ready for pickup.

In-stock orders: If the order is not picked up within 3 business days, it may be cancelled and the amount paid will be issued as a store credit on your account.
Special orders: Special-order items must also be picked up within 3 business days. After that, a storage fee of $25 per day will be charged until the order is picked up.

This policy helps us manage warehouse space and reduce the risk of damage to materials.

  • Why do I have to sign so much paperwork?
Kitchen and cabinet orders involve many details that can’t be easily changed once ordered. The paperwork protects you and prevents common issues like incorrect measurements, appliance sizing problems, missed window/door details, incomplete cabinet lists, or unconfirmed changes.

  • What’s the difference between a full kitchen design and a cabinet list order?
Cabinet list order: You provide the cabinet list (and measurements). We place the order based on what you submit, with a simpler sign-off.
Full kitchen design: We create/adjust a layout and design. Because it involves more planning and revisions, it requires more detailed approvals to confirm everything is correct.

  • What is your return policy?
Returns depend on the item type and whether it’s in-stock or special order.
Some items (especially special orders) may be final sale, and some returns may require the product to be unused and in perfect, resalable condition. We recommend reviewing the return terms on your invoice/quote before purchase.

  • I didn’t know about the policy — why wasn’t it explained?
We understand that policies can be easy to miss. We aim to review key terms up front (special-order rules, restocking fees if applicable, lead times, delivery policies, damage claim timeframes, and payment requirements). If anything is unclear, please ask before placing the order — we’re happy to explain.

  • Why are trims (moldings) not returnable?
Because trims are easily damaged and hard to resell once handled. If we accept trim returns (for specific situations), they must be in perfect, unused, resalable condition (original condition with no damage).

  • Can you price match an estimate from another store?
We can review it! Bring us the written estimate (or email it), and we’ll compare:

-  same product/brand/specs (or the closest equivalent),
-  quantities and accessories,
-  delivery vs. pickup,
-  and any special conditions (clearance, discontinued items, install included, etc.).

If it’s a true apples-to-apples 🍎 match, we’ll let you know what we can do.
